You will take off from the Aschaffenburg airfield and fly upstream along the river Main, past Löwenstein castle to Miltenberg. From a bird's eye perspective you will have a look onto the celtic ring wall, the Main bridge with it's impressive bridge tower and the Mildenburg. Across the Hessian-Frankish highland the flight will proceed along the bending curves of the river Main to Wertheim. From the air you'll see the typical structure of a medieval city with it's market square and magnificent frame houses. The spiky tower, Wertheim castle, the Kittstein gate and the small palace at the Hofgarten are just a few of the most important sights of the city located on the rivers Tauber and Main. Leaving Wertheim you'll fly on across the nature park Bayerischer Spessart. The 70m high Haseltal bridge of the A3 highway is an imposing structure and so is the enclosure Hösbach/Goldbach which currently has the world's longest photovoltaics facility. Finally you'll cruise above the city of Aschaffenburg, past Johannes castle and the romantic historic centre on the Stiftsberg.
